Organized Meal Prep for PCOS

I have PCOS and I also am a Professional Organizer. So, meal prepping clean foods in individual containers in gigantic displays is the ultimate nerd out for me. It helps me stay on top of SO much- hormonal balance, cuts way down on me getting food outside the house, saves me a sh*t ton of money I didn’t even know I wanted to save haha,

and keeps me organized so I can get other stuff done. and I still get my cooking therapy in… just not daily.

I created my clean eating plan and spent about 3 hours in the kitchen organizing my nutrition for the week and took this pic. I’m just sad that some of my containers were in the dishwasher at the time because this baby took over the entire dining room table once completed. Also, all of this (plus the missing soup and salads) cost me about $36 for the week but I know someone buying in bulk (and not solely at trader joes like i did lol) could do it for a little less. I have lost over 50 lbs this way, and I’m about to do that one more time!! And you know that losing 50 on pcos is a piece of work in itself. but ladies, IT CAN BE DONEEEEE.

*** it’s also important to note that for pcos I also take b-complex and d3 vitamins every day, so i have those sorted out each day as well. this helps with clearing brain fog, boosting moods, and giving natural energy over time (no sharp spikes or jitters like caffeine gives you) I also do not consume coffee- I drink unsweetened herbal tea at least twice a day in addition to water.****

Here’s what I made:

top row:

deconstructed eggroll- ground turkey, ginger sesame dressing, scallions, cabbage/kale/brussels shredded mix, slivered almonds.

2nd row: almonds, boiled free range eggs (2 per meal but only one showing) and a cutie orange

3rd row: low sodium roasted red pepper-tomato soup and a salad mix with red wine vinegar, carrots, and celery.

bottom row: alternating containers of garlic pan-roasted broccoli with salmon and lemon coconut oil mahi mahi with french green beans.

I have a ton of amazing recipes I do too and i’m going to keep taking pics of them with my new containers. I do also put in an apple a day OR a banana, I just didn’t have any for this pic.

its driving me crazy that I have one unmatching container here haha
